Drive in Movie

The kids enjoyed their drive in movie!

May 1 - Scout Trees

The Colony will be participating in tree planting again this year at the City of Ottawa planting site in Riverside South.  Here are the details:

Where:  Otter Tail Crecent
When:  Planting will start at 9am.  Gather around the registration tent by 8:45 am and sign in with the leader so we know who participated (and get the right number of badges accordingly).

You can leave whenever you wish (I know there are other activities on the go), but planting will continue until you either run out of trees or 11:30, which ever comes first.

Bring a small shovel, small pail and a bottle of water for you to drink!
Dress for the weather!

See you there!

April 27 - Drive In Movie

Tonight we will be watching a movie in our newly constructed cars!  Brown and Blue tails should bring the car they built last week to sit in and watch the movie!  (Movie - TBD)

Popcorn and juice will be served.

NOTE:  I have received interest from a reporter from the Barrhaven-Ottawa South This Week to come and take photos of the drive in, so there may be a photographer here tonight!

April 20 - Transportation

Brown and Blue Tail Beavers will be meeting at St Jerome School as usual.  C Colony will be joining us to construct a car for our Drive In Movie next week.  Bring a box big enough for your beaver to sit in it!
(You will need your car next week as well for the movie. - Don't destroy it!)

NOTE:  WHITE TAIL BEAVERS HAVE A CHANGE OF LOCATION

White Tail Beavers will be going to Bernard Grand Maitre School.  Meet in the gym with the C Colony White Tails.  You will be building our annual wooden craft specifically for the white tails.  This year it is a wooden helicopter.

Keep your big boxes!

For our transportation night on April 20, the blue and brown tails only will be building a car to sit in for the drive in movie the following week.

If your child is a blue or brown tail, you will need to find a box big enough for them to sit in, and bring it on April 20 for your child to transform it into a car.

White tail beavers will not be doing this, as they have a different activity on that evening. Stay tuned for details...

April 13 - Beach Party

With all this warm weather we have been having, why not have a beach party!

Wear your Haiwaiin shirts and come ready to party! Do the limbo, play some beach ball volleyball, participate in a crab race, and that is just the beginning!
